Ssc Is All About Community.

Do you love being in private practice but often feel all alone?

Do you wish you had a community of like-minded professionals that you could consult with regularly, laugh & cry with, eat with, and learn with?

Here are the nuts and bolts.

Things that are important to us:

Connection. We are not only colleagues, we're friends. We enjoy spending time together and care about one another. The fact that we know each other well helps us refer intelligently to one another so that clients get matched with the perfect therapist for them. Among us we also have a wide network of therapists and adjunct providers to whom we refer outside of SSC.

Calm. We work in an office that feels more like a living room. We have intentionally curated our space to help you and your clients feel calm and safe. From velvet couches to living plants to gourmet coffee and chocolate, we want you to feel at home.

Clinical Skill. We meet twice a month to consult, learn from each other and get to know each other better.  More often than not, we are also consulting one-on-one with each other. There's always someone willing to help you out. Our Monday consultation group is Collective-led, meaning we take turns and discuss what is most pressing each time.

Our philosophy

We don't just rent space to tenants. We are creating an intentional community of mental health providers who want to run their own businesses but don't want to be stuck in an office all alone. We often do heavy work, helping people heal from traumas and let's face it, it can be hard to do without regular support.

Lease & community activities

Lease agreements are for one year, with the option to renew, as mutually agreed upon.

Our consultation group meets bi-weekly on Mondays 11am-12pm. While not required, this is an important part of being part of our community.

We want to run into you in the hallway, have an impromptu lunch with you, grab a coffee with you, discuss your cases and your life with you - all with the goal of you being able to do your best, most meaningful work. We spend a lot of time in our lives working. Let's make it delicious.

Important note

Please note, the owners and members of SSC do not receive any financial rewards for referring clients to one another. We just get a lot of gratitude and satisfaction knowing that people who need quality mental health support are receiving it.
